  
When it's time to grab a soft, warm jacket and head out the door, this is our favorite choice. A front zip makes for easy off and on manuevers when the weather shifts, the softness of fleece and ample side-seam pockets are welcome when we're wearing it at the beach on a cool summer evening, and the straight instead of gathered bottom gives a little extra room and straighter sillouette over the hips. And as if all that practical stuff wasn't enough, it's embroidered with a polite but insistent declaration of where our hearts call home -- MAINE. Colors in the plaid are black, dark evergreen, and that mysterious shade of almost navy blue that colors the sky and signals the end of day just as the stars are emerging over the Great North Woods.
